Visa builds Asian football presence with club competition renewal

Visa has renewed its AFC club competition partnership until 2029, securing global sponsorship rights alongside payment services, ticket pre-sales and fan experiences across men’s and women’s football.

Visa has extended its partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the 2026–2029 cycle, maintaining its commercial presence across the Champions League Elite, Champions League Two and Women’s Champions League.The company will remain an Official Global Supporter and serve as global payment services partner across all three competitions, with rights connecting its sponsorship to ticket purchases and matchday experiences.AFC general secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John said: “We are thrilled to expand our global partnership with Visa.
