Tottenham face commercial change as Norys heads to MotoGP

Tottenham Hotspur are set to lose chief revenue officer Ryan Norys to MotoGP, while a reported early end to their FURSYS GROUP furniture partnership adds to changes in the club’s commercial operation.

brief

Tottenham Hotspur chief revenue officer Ryan Norys is leaving to become MotoGP’s chief commercial officer. His departure will create a senior vacancy in the club’s revenue operation as Tottenham also face the reported early termination of a furniture partnership.MotoGP confirmed Norys’s appointment on September 23. He has led Tottenham’s commercial business since 2022 and will take responsibility for MotoGP’s global partnerships, sponsorship, licensing, hospitality, marketing and digital activities.MotoGP deputy chief executive Carlos Ezpeleta said: “These appointments are an important step in building the team that will help shape MotoGP’s future. Ryan, Sameer, Louise and Denitza bring hugely valuable experience from leading sports and entertainment organisations that will strengthen our commercial, media, operations and strategy capabilities.”Norys remains Tottenham’s chief revenue officer while he serves a notice period, according to a report on his departure. MotoGP has not announced a start date for his new role. The move takes place during a period of change in Tottenham’s leadership. Daniel Levy left as executive chairman in September 2025 after nearly 25 years in the position, while Vinai Venkatesham had joined as chief executive earlier that year.Tottenham’s commercial team is also facing a reported change in its partner portfolio. SIDIZ, a South Korean furniture brand within FURSYS GROUP, has reportedly exercised an early termination clause that would end the arrangement at the close of October. Tottenham and FURSYS GROUP have not announced the termination. The club named FURSYS GROUP its official furniture manufacturing partner for the men’s and women’s teams in November 2024. Under that agreement, SIDIZ branding appeared on seating in the press auditoriums at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the training centre, with the wider partnership also covering digital activity and stadium advertising.Norys was involved in announcing the FURSYS GROUP deal and other commercial agreements during his time at Tottenham. The club will now need to manage his transition while deciding how to replace that senior leadership role and, if the reported partner exit is confirmed, the furniture arrangement. The two developments have different causes, and no link between them has been established. They nevertheless leave Tottenham with decisions to make across both commercial staffing and a category of their sponsorship portfolio.
