Serie A taps Fastbreak AI to power fixture scheduling
Lega Serie A has signed a multi-year deal with Fastbreak AI to use its Pro Schedule platform to build league fixtures around hundreds of constraints, from rest periods to broadcast requirements.
Lega Calcio Serie A has agreed a multi-year partnership with Fastbreak AI to use the company’s scheduling software to produce the league’s season fixture list.The move is a sports operations play with direct commercial impact, since scheduling decisions shape broadcast value, stadium utilisation, supporter travel, competitive balance and club performance planning.The league will use Fastbreak Pro Schedule, an AI-enabled platform designed to account for large volumes of rules and constraints in a single scheduling process.Luigi De Siervo, chief executive of Lega Calcio Serie A, said: “Building the season calendar requires balancing the sporting needs of clubs, respecting supporters, broadcasters, competition and local requirements in an increasingly complex environment.
