LFP Media appoints Nénon-Zimmermann to lead partnerships
LFP Media has appointed Nathalie Nénon-Zimmermann as director of partnerships, giving her responsibility for growing sponsorship, advertising, event promotion and licensing revenue across French professional football.
LFP Media has appointed Nathalie Nénon-Zimmermann as director of partnerships, reporting to chief executive Olivier Bramly as the commercial arm of French professional football seeks to expand income beyond its media rights business.Her remit covers sponsorship and advertising revenue, event promotion and licensing in France, with a focus on increasing the appeal of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 to brands.Bramly said her experience in commercial development, sport and media would help LFP Media “accelerate the growth of our partnerships business.”Nénon-Zimmermann has spent more than 25 years in sport, media and marketing, including senior roles with Sportfive, Kantar Sport, Webedia and Olympique de Marseille.At Marseille, she was deputy managing director with responsibility for marketing and revenue, giving her direct experience of developing a French club’s commercial operations.She previously led Kantar Sport globally from London, overseeing audience analysis, fan research and partnership evaluation for organisations including FIFA, UEFA and leading European clubs.Her earlier work included marketing and sponsorship responsibilities around the 1998 World Cup in France, followed by roles at M6 and consultancy businesses serving sports rights holders.Most recently, she led Oxygen Solutions, which works on measuring social and environmental impact in sport and leisure.LFP Media’s appointment places an executive with experience on both the rights holder and agency sides of sport in charge of building commercial partnerships across its two professional leagues.Bramly said the recruitment supported LFP Media’s ambition to increase the value of its competitions for brands and existing partners.
