RC Lens have signed Molinel as a Premium Partner for the next two seasons, adding a long-established regional workwear brand to their commercial portfolio. The agreement was brokered by SPORTFIVE and will place Molinel’s branding on the front of the shorts worn by Lens’ men’s and women’s first teams.SPORTFIVE managing director Xavier Oddone said: “Contributing to this alliance between RC Lens and Molinel means bringing together two organisations that have much in common: a strong connection to their territory, a rich history and deeply rooted values.“At SPORTFIVE, our role is precisely to identify these connections between a club and a brand and turn them into meaningful partnerships. RC Lens and Molinel share the same culture of hard work and close ties to their region, which makes this collaboration a natural fit.”Molinel was founded in 1845 and designs workwear and protective equipment for sectors including crafts, industry, construction, healthcare and food trades. The partnership brings together two Hauts-de-France organisations with strong local positioning and national visibility.RC Lens chief executive Benjamin Parrot said: “We are delighted to welcome Molinel as a Premium Partner. As a leading French company in professional workwear with deep roots in our region, Molinel shares the Racing’s values of hard work, humility and transmission. It therefore felt only natural that our paths should cross today.“This partnership carries a particularly symbolic meaning: while Molinel designs workwear for those who contribute every day through their professions, at Racing, we roll up our sleeves every day to defend our colours with the same commitment and work ethic. Welcome to Molinel and all its employees to the great Racing family!”The shorts asset gives Molinel recurring visibility across domestic matches, broadcast coverage, photography and club content. The inclusion of the women’s first team also gives the brand a broader rights package across Lens’ senior football operations.Molinel president Fady Perche-Bassila said: “Joining RC Lens as a Premium Partner is an immense source of pride for MOLINEL. Beyond sport, we share the same culture of teamwork, hard work and commitment. This partnership reflects what we have become: a strong, ambitious company firmly focused on the future.”The agreement strengthens Lens’ partner base through a locally rooted commercial deal tied to regional identity, workwear heritage and first-team kit inventory.
