L'Auxiliaire becomes major OL Lyonnes partner

French women's football club OL Lyonnes have signed Lyon-based construction insurer L'Auxiliaire as a major partner in a deal brokered by SPORTFIVE. The agreement adds another major commercial partner to OL Lyonnes as the club seeks to build revenues and partnerships around one of Europe's leading women's football properties.

OL Lyonnes have agreed a major partnership with French construction insurer L'Auxiliaire, with the company's branding to appear on the players' shorts from next season.The agreement was facilitated by global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE and will also include supporter activations around OL Lyonnes matches.L'Auxiliaire was founded in Lyon and has specialised exclusively in insurance for the construction sector for 163 years. The partnership builds on the company's existing links with the city and wider region while increasing its involvement in women's sport.The insurer will use the agreement to promote opportunities for women in both football and the construction industry, where women remain underrepresented.L'Auxiliaire President Thibault Richard said: "We are proud to support OL LYONNES as a Major Partner.
