Inter Miami takes equity stake as IM8 becomes exclusive supplements partner
Inter Miami CF has signed a multi-year partnership with Prenetics-owned IM8 that makes the Beckham co-founded brand the club’s exclusive health supplements partner and includes an equity stake by the MLS side.
Inter Miami CF has agreed a multi-year partnership with Prenetics’ health and longevity brand IM8, making it the club’s exclusive official health supplements partner and adding an equity component that deepens commercial alignment beyond a standard sponsorship. The deal includes an equity stake in Prenetics, marking the first time Inter Miami have taken an equity position in a brand partner as the club looks to build a broader portfolio of strategic relationships around performance, content and global reach.David Beckham, IM8 co-founder and Inter Miami co-owner, said: “I’ve always believed that performance starts with how you prepare and how you look after yourself. That’s one of the reasons I’m proud to see Inter Miami partner with IM8 - it’s a great product built on science, innovation, and the drive to help people feel and perform at their best.”IM8’s product range, including Daily Ultimate Essentials, Daily Ultimate Longevity and The Beckham Stack, will be integrated into the club’s day-to-day environment, with products made available to all players and staff. The partnership also grants IM8 group player name, image and likeness rights covering a minimum of four Inter Miami players, creating a defined pool of talent that can be used across advertising and promotional campaigns.Danny Yeung, Prenetics chief executive and IM8 co-founder, commented: “Inter Miami has never taken equity in a brand partner before – they have now, and that partner is Prenetics. That alone tells you what the club thinks of IM8. We’re not putting a logo on a wall. We’re embedding IM8 into the daily routines of players on a world-class roster, as we’re building the next generation of IM8 products.“With Inter Miami joining Giannis, Sabalenka, and Bearman, IM8 now has equity partners across the four biggest sports in the world – football, basketball, tennis, and Formula 1. That’s the foundation we’re building on.”IM8 will gain branding presence in the Nutritional Center at Inter Miami’s Florida Blue Training Center in Fort Lauderdale, alongside matchday and digital inventory that includes LED field-level signage, concourse displays and scoreboard commercials at the club’s newly opened Nu Stadium.IM8 will also activate in the stadium fan zone and deliver a co-branded digital content series, pushing the partnership into year-round storytelling rather than limiting it to matchday visibility.International rights form another core element, allowing IM8 to use Inter Miami’s club marks across the brand’s footprint in more than 40 countries, which is designed to convert the club’s global attention into consumer acquisition outside the United States.Prenetics has positioned IM8 as a high-growth platform, citing more than US$100m in annualised recurring revenue within 11 months of launch and projecting full-year 2026 revenue of roughly US$180m to US$200m, with distribution already scaled across multiple markets. The structure reflects a broader trend in sports commercial strategy, with rights holders increasingly open to equity, product integration and performance-led partnerships that can sit closer to football operations while creating longer-term upside for both sides.
