FOX expands Concacaf rights in Central America
FOX has expanded its Concacaf rights portfolio with a Central American broadcast deal covering the Nations League and qualifying for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
FOX Latin America has secured rights to the Concacaf Nations League and 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifiers across Central America, expanding its portfolio of regional football properties.The agreement, brokered by GRUP MEDIAPRO and IMG, covers the 2026-27 and 2028-29 editions of the Nations League, including the finals, as well as Concacaf's qualification competition for the 2030 World Cup.World Cup qualifying begins in September 2027 and runs until November 2029, with up to seven Concacaf nations able to reach the tournament.FOX will provide coverage across television and streaming platforms in Central America, supported by local commentary and dedicated pre- and post-match programming.The rights include away matches involving Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.FOX Latin America EVP and General Manager Carlos Martinez said: "National teams represent the football that most unites and excites fans across Central America. FOX Sports agreed a multi-year US deal in June covering English-language rights to the Gold Cup and Nations League through 2029, while FOX Latin America has also renewed rights in Mexico to Concacaf's principal men's club competitions through 2030.FOX's Nations League coverage in Central America begins on September 24.
