brief

Nottingham Forest have expanded their partnership with Ideagen for the 2026-27 season, with the software company becoming the club’s Official Health & Safety Technology Partner.Ideagen will continue supporting Forest’s men’s, women’s and academy teams, while the agreement now also extends to Nottingham Forest Netball for the first time.Ideagen chief executive Ben Dorks said: “As a lifelong Nottingham Forest fan, I’m proud of how our partnership with them has grown over the past five years. What started with a shared commitment to our community has evolved into something much broader.“Forest is a club with an incredible history and a really exciting future. We're thrilled to be part of that journey, whether that's through Think Big, supporting the club behind the scenes with our tech, or now through our association with Nottingham Forest Netball.”The expanded agreement gives the partnership a stronger operational dimension, with Forest already using Ideagen’s health and safety technology on a daily basis to help maintain compliance at the City Ground.Ideagen provides software covering health and safety, quality, risk and compliance across regulated industries, allowing Forest to use the relationship both as a sponsorship platform and as part of their internal technology infrastructure.Forest chief operating officer Paul Bell said: “Ideagen has been a trusted partner of Nottingham Forest for many years, and we're delighted to continue this relationship.“As the Club continues to grow both on and off the pitch, partnerships that bring genuine expertise, innovation and community impact are increasingly important. Ideagen is a global, industry-leading business, and we've already seen the positive impact its solutions can bring to our organisation and beyond.”The relationship began in 2021 and later expanded into a sleeve sponsorship covering the men’s, women’s and academy teams.Community activity remains central to the deal through Think Big, the technology careers programme delivered with Nottingham Forest Foundation.More than 71,000 young people across Nottinghamshire have now participated in the initiative, which is designed to broaden career aspirations and highlight opportunities in technology and innovation.Adding Forest’s netball operation also widens Ideagen’s sports platform after the company served as presenting partner of netball at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. The latest renewal therefore moves the relationship further beyond traditional sponsorship, combining brand visibility, community investment and enterprise technology within a broader club partnership.
