Football Australia has added sleep brand BEDGEAR and renewed menswear partner M.J. Bale as it builds a performance and presentation programme around the CommBank Socceroos and CommBank Matildas ahead of the 2026 cycle.

Bale as Official Tailor of the CommBank Socceroos.The moves underline a preparation-led commercial approach ahead of the teams’ next major international windows, with sponsorships tied to high-performance support and national team identity.Football Australia said the BEDGEAR partnership is built around athlete recovery and readiness, positioning sleep as a controllable performance variable alongside nutrition, training load and sports science.BEDGEAR’s sleep coaches have already completed personalised pillow fittings for both senior squads and staff, matching athletes to pillows based on body type, sleep position and temperature preference.Aimee Griffiths, vice-president APAC at BEDGEAR, said: “Sleep is one of the most powerful tools in an athlete’s performance toolkit.
