Venezia have signed Enel as their official energy partner and premium sponsor for the 2026/27 season, adding the multinational power company to their commercial portfolio following promotion to Serie A.The agreement gives Enel branding at the Ca’ Venezia Training Center and pitchside LED exposure during home matches at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo, extending its presence across the club’s training and matchday operations.Venezia said in their announcement: “Venezia FC announces its partnership with Enel for the 2026/2027 season. The Group, leader in the energy sector, will serve as the Club’s Official Energy Partner and Premium Sponsor.”The partnership strengthens Enel’s involvement in Italian football, with the company describing itself as the energy business holding the highest number of partnerships across Serie A.Enel identified Venezia’s connection to their city as a reason for the agreement, linking its sponsorship to Venice’s cultural heritage and international recognition as well as the club’s sporting activities. The company has positioned the relationship within its wider support for Italian sporting organisations, with an emphasis on developing lasting partnerships and contributing to the communities where it operates.Venezia’s own identity combines football with commitments to social responsibility, community development, art and the preservation of Venice, providing shared themes for the partnership beyond advertising exposure. The announced rights focus on banners at the training centre and LED boards at the stadium, placing Enel’s brand at two central locations in the club’s operations.Venezia play at the Penzo on the lagoon island of Sant’Elena, next to the Venice Biennale district, with the ground recognised as Italy’s second-oldest stadium.Their return to Serie A for 2026/27 follows promotion last season, giving the partnership a top-flight platform after the club’s previous promotions to the division in 2021 and 2024.Enel operates in 27 countries and has more than 92 GW of electricity generation capacity, with its renewable energy arm, Enel Green Power, accounting for 67 GW.The group’s activities also encompass electricity distribution, retail energy services, storage and electric vehicle charging, serving households, businesses, industrial customers and public administrations. Its distribution networks extend across approximately 1.9 million kilometres and connect more than 69 million end users, while its commercial business serves around 54 million customers globally. The Venezia agreement adds another club to that international company’s Italian sponsorship portfolio, with its brand set to appear at Ca’ Venezia and the Penzo throughout the 2026/27 season.
