Crystal Palace name Temporal as new front-of-shirt partner
Crystal Palace have signed open-source software platform Temporal as their new front-of-shirt partner from 2026–27, pairing a premium kit asset with a community programme focused on computer science and AI education.
Crystal Palace have agreed a multi-year front-of-shirt partnership with Temporal that will begin in the 2026–27 season, giving the club a technology-led principal partner as they look to build commercial momentum after a landmark year on the pitch.Temporal will appear on the front of the men’s and Academy teams’ kits, placing the company in one of the Premier League’s highest-visibility sponsorship positions while offering the club a platform to connect with global technology audiences. The partnership also includes a community strand delivered through the Palace for Life Foundation, with Palace and Temporal set to run computer science and AI workshops for young people across South London.Barry Webber, Crystal Palace’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Crystal Palace has always aligned itself with innovative, ambitious partners, and our new front of shirt collaboration with Temporal is a perfect fit for that vision.“Their world class platform will power some of the most exciting technology in football, and we’re thrilled that this journey will start with Palace and our supporters in South London and across the globe. "As we look ahead to another exciting chapter for the Club on and off the pitch, partnering with a category leading technology business like Temporal underlines our commitment to building a progressive, forward-thinking future for Crystal Palace.”Temporal positions itself as an open-source software platform that helps organisations build reliable applications at scale, with Palace using the partnership to underline a broader push into technology categories that can travel internationally. The club said Temporal is trusted by organisations including OpenAI, Netflix, JPMorgan Chase and Vodafone, with the company’s product narrative centred on resilience and uptime across critical systems.Palace are also using the timing to reinforce their current sporting profile, describing the agreement as landing after their FA Cup triumph, Community Shield victory and first-ever qualification for European competition.Samar Abbas, CEO and co-founder of Temporal, said: “Crystal Palace has been held in the hearts of its community for 164 years.“That kind of bond between an organization and the people who believe in it is exactly what Temporal is building with the developers and businesses who run on our platform every day.“We are proud to stand behind a club that understands what it means to be someone’s reliable foundation.”From a rights-holder perspective, the deal combines mass-reach branding with a local impact programme that can be evidenced through participation numbers and education outcomes, an increasingly important expectation for major partners.Temporal gains a season-long storytelling platform tied to matchday visibility, content and community engagement, while Palace add a principal partner aligned to innovation messaging as they expand their commercial portfolio into growth sectors.
