brief

Chelsea have named Legora as an official partner, giving the legal technology company training kit visibility across the club’s men’s, women’s and academy teams.Legora’s branding will appear on the sleeve of Chelsea’s training wear under the multi-year agreement. Financial terms were not disclosed.Chelsea general counsel Rob Hamblin said: “We are pleased to welcome Legora as an official partner to the club. Their focus on supporting professionals to perform at their highest level aligns closely with our own ambitions and values.“Having Legora present on the training kit of our men’s, women’s and Academy teams is a reflection of our shared commitment to preparation, development and continuous improvement.”Chelsea’s legal department also uses Legora’s technology across parts of its contract management and legal work, adding a business-to-business element to the sponsorship. The platform supports legal professionals with research, document review and drafting. Legora said its products are used by more than 100,000 legal professionals at over 1,200 law firms and in-house teams across more than 50 markets.Legora chief executive and co-founder Max Junestrand said: “The best teams do the work that truly makes the difference long before they take to the field. Chelsea FC operates that way, and so do we. That’s what this partnership is about.”The agreement gives Legora access to a globally recognised sports property as the company seeks to increase awareness among law firms, corporate legal departments and other professional services buyers.Training kit rights offer regular exposure across club-produced content, training-ground photography, social media and broadcast footage without requiring a position on Chelsea’s match shirts.Extending the asset across the men’s, women’s and academy teams also broadens the partnership’s visibility and connects Legora with different parts of Chelsea’s football structure. The deal reflects growing interest from artificial intelligence businesses in sports sponsorship as emerging technology companies compete to establish trust and recognition beyond specialist legal and corporate markets.Chelsea gain a partner operating in a category closely linked to their internal administration, including contracts, regulatory work and commercial agreements. That integration can provide greater credibility than a conventional endorsement arrangement because Legora’s technology is being used within the club as well as promoted through its commercial inventory. The partnership begins immediately, with Legora branding set to appear across Chelsea’s training kit and related content during the 2026–27 season.
