Chelsea appoint Velocity Black as luxury concierge supplier
Chelsea have appointed Velocity Black as their official luxury concierge supplier, adding personalised travel, dining and event services to the club’s premium supporter and hospitality proposition.
Chelsea have named Velocity Black as their official luxury concierge supplier, expanding the range of premium experiences available to supporters and Club Chelsea hospitality customers.The partnership will give Chelsea’s global fanbase access to personalised services across travel, dining, entertainment and events. Financial terms and the duration of the agreement were not disclosed.Chelsea partnership sales director Oliver Boden said: “We are delighted to welcome Velocity Black to the club. Their commitment to excellence and ability to deliver highly personalised services align perfectly with our ambition to operate at the highest level both on and off the pitch.“This partnership will bring inspirational best-in-class experiences for our supporters.”Velocity Black combines human concierge services with a digital membership platform, allowing customers to arrange travel, restaurant bookings and access to events through a single service.The company was founded in 2014 and operates across the luxury lifestyle market, using technology to support personalised planning and recommendations.Its appointment strengthens Chelsea’s offer to Club Chelsea members, who represent a high-value customer group across the club’s hospitality and premium seating products.Concierge services can extend the relationship beyond the match itself by incorporating accommodation, dining, transport and entertainment around visits to Stamford Bridge.The partnership also gives Chelsea a service aimed at overseas supporters, corporate guests and hospitality customers seeking a managed experience while travelling to London.Velocity Black vice-president and head of operations and partnerships Dave Bann said: “We are thrilled to partner with a world-class organisation like Chelsea FC.“We look forward to leveraging Velocity Black’s expertise and unique technology platform to provide the club’s faithful supporters and Club Chelsea members with unparalleled experiences and access.”Chelsea have been expanding their commercial portfolio across technology, professional services and premium lifestyle categories.The club recently added legal AI company Legora as a training kit partner, combining sponsorship inventory with use of the company’s platform inside Chelsea’s legal department.The Velocity Black agreement does not include prominent kit or stadium naming rights but adds a supplier capable of supporting Chelsea’s hospitality proposition and customer service.Premium experiences are an increasingly important revenue area for leading clubs as they seek to increase spending per visitor without relying solely on general admission ticket prices.Chelsea and Velocity Black will now develop offers for supporters and Club Chelsea members across travel, dining, events and other luxury experiences.
