brief

Chelsea have unveiled a new matchday hospitality venue with Bagatelle, expanding the club’s premium offer at Stamford Bridge with a concept built around dining, entertainment and high-end match seating. The Bagatelle Experience at Chelsea Football Club is an 80-seat space located in the West Stand, developed with the club’s official catering service partner Legends Global.Chelsea said the venue will deliver a full Bagatelle restaurant and bar service on matchdays, combining French Mediterranean cuisine with a live DJ set as part of a more entertainment-led hospitality product.Bonnie Rolfe, venue director for Chelsea, said: “Chelsea Football Club is committed to redefining what premium matchday hospitality can be, and partnering with global leaders like Bagatelle allows us to do exactly that. "The Bagatelle Experience at Chelsea brings an expanded range of matchday hospitality packages for fans and guests at Stamford Bridge, complementing the venue’s unique spaces and ensuring we continue to deliver best-in-class offerings.”The partnership extends Chelsea’s broader hospitality portfolio, which already includes the Millennium Suites, Dugout Club and premium club boxes, and reflects the continuing shift towards higher-yield matchday income across the Premier League.Premium hospitality has become a central lever for clubs balancing rising costs with the volatility of on-pitch performance, particularly in stadia where footprint is fixed and growth increasingly depends on product design, pricing power and service differentiation.Bagatelle brings a lifestyle-led restaurant brand into the stadium environment, a model that has been gaining traction as clubs look beyond traditional corporate dining formats and towards concepts that can attract new audiences, including younger high-spend customers and international visitors.Salima Vellani, co-founder of Bagatelle International, said: “Bagatelle has always stood for celebrating life through extraordinary moments and bringing that spirit to a prime sporting institution like Chelsea FC in a premium location is a perfect extension of our DNA. We’re thrilled to be creating an experience that blends our signature joie de vivre with the thrill of matchday at Stamford Bridge. This collaboration represents a bold new chapter for Bagatelle, and we cannot wait to welcome guests into a space that feels both unmistakably us and uniquely Chelsea.”Legends Global will manage the venue, positioning the project as part of its wider portfolio of premium hospitality operations across major sports and entertainment venues.Chris Bray, president Europe at Legends Global, said: “Legends Global is proud to partner with Chelsea Football Club and Bagatelle to bring this unique, world-class hospitality concept to life. Our mission is to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and this project embodies that ambition. "The Bagatelle Experience at Chelsea Football Club will set a new benchmark for luxury matchday entertainment – unlike anything else in British football. We are delighted to see work is now underway and look forward to unveiling the finished space.”The next steps are the completion of the fit-out and the launch of sales activity, with Chelsea indicating limited seasonal memberships will be available for the new hospitality experience.
