Brentford keep Hollywoodbets close after shirt sponsorship era ends
Brentford have extended their partnership with Hollywoodbets for another five years, retaining the betting brand as an official partner while shifting the relationship away from front-of-shirt sponsorship and towards matchday, fan and community activation.
Brentford have agreed a five-year extension with Hollywoodbets, taking one of the club’s longest-running commercial relationships into a new phase after the betting brand’s spell as front-of-shirt partner.Hollywoodbets will remain Brentford’s official betting partner and retain rights including prominent in-stadium branding, first-team player access for meet-and-greets and use of Gtech Community Stadium for matchday hosting.Brentford head of partnership services Adam Ward said: “Like Brentford, Hollywoodbets are ambitious and are always thinking long term. We are very fortunate to have them as a partner and their commitment to the club over the years has been remarkable.”The renewal takes the relationship into a seventh season. Hollywoodbets initially joined Brentford as a back-of-shirt partner during their promotion-winning 2020/21 campaign before moving onto the front of the shirt from 2021/22.Its branding will no longer appear on the front of Brentford’s playing shirts, but the five-year agreement gives Hollywoodbets continued access to a broad range of club assets and supporter engagement opportunities.Devin Heffer, brand and communications manager at Hollywoodbets, said: “The Hollywoodbets team has loved every moment of our journey with the Bees, and we are incredibly excited to be extending our partnership for another five years. While our logo may no longer feature on the front of the jersey, the Brentford crest remains firmly on our hearts.“We are particularly looking forward to the community projects ahead through the Hollywood Foundation and Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, while continuing to create memorable experiences for the loyal fans who have made us feel so welcome over the past six years.”Community activity will become a larger part of the renewed partnership, with the Hollywood Foundation increasing its support of Brentford FC Community Sports Trust. The two organisations have previously collaborated on initiatives including Hollywood Heroes, which recognised youth coaches and volunteers making a contribution across west London. The extension also shows how betting brands can retain significant commercial relationships with Premier League clubs even as shirt inventory changes. Rather than exiting the partnership, Hollywoodbets is shifting its investment towards stadium visibility, hospitality, experiences and community programmes. That gives Brentford continuity with an established sponsor while preserving a range of other commercial assets, and gives Hollywoodbets a long-term presence around the club without relying on the front of the playing shirt. The five-year term represents a substantial commitment on both sides and will keep Hollywoodbets integrated into Brentford’s commercial and community operations well beyond the end of its front-of-shirt role.
