Bayern deepen Asia commercial strategy with Mega Casino World deal
Bayern Munich have signed a three-year regional partnership with Mega Casino World covering major Asian markets, expanding the club’s commercial footprint in a priority growth region while adding an iGaming brand to their international sponsorship portfolio.
Bayern Munich have signed a three-year partnership with Mega Casino World, making the iGaming brand an Official Regional Partner across a broad range of Asian markets until June 30, 2029.The agreement covers South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and East Asia, giving Mega Casino World access to Bayern’s brand and fanbase across one of the club’s key international growth regions. Financial terms were not disclosed.Bayern chief marketing and sales officer Rouven Kasper said: “Asia is an important market for the club. We are optimistic that this cooperation will broaden our reach in the Asian market.”“The three-year commitment with Mega Casino World will lift our commercial presence throughout Asia.”The partnership strengthens Bayern’s regional sponsorship model, which allows the club to monetise their international following through market-specific commercial agreements rather than relying solely on global partners.Bayern have established a structured operating presence across Asia, with representation in Seoul and offices in Shanghai and Bangkok. That infrastructure supports sponsorship activation, fan engagement and business development in markets where European football commands a significant following.Mega Casino World has existing experience in football sponsorship, including a partnership with Bundesliga International dating back to 2023 and previous relationships with European clubs. The Bayern agreement gives the company a larger platform to build awareness across multiple Asian territories while associating with one of Europe’s most commercially established football brands.Mega Casino World director Jeosid Dave Monarca said: “We are delighted to partner with FC Bayern Munich as we continue expanding our presence across international sport.”“Their global reputation provides an excellent avenue for both sides to strengthen our reach and connect with football audiences across the region.”The deal also reflects Bayern’s continued push to convert international brand strength into regional commercial revenue, particularly in Asia where the club have invested in permanent offices and local market operations. The agreement will run across three football seasons and forms part of Bayern’s wider strategy of building long-term commercial relationships that can be activated locally across key international territories.
