Angel City FC signs Victory+ regional broadcast partnership
Angel City FC has struck a regional streaming deal with Victory+ that adds six local broadcasts in 2026 and expands distribution options in the greater Los Angeles market.
Angel City FC and Victory+ have agreed a regional broadcast partnership that will bring live match coverage and additional club content to fans across the greater Los Angeles area via the free sports streaming platform.The deal begins on May 20, when Victory+ will carry Angel City’s match against the Kansas City Current at BMO Stadium, with Victory+ scheduled to show six local Angel City broadcasts across the 2026 season.Laura Flynn, Angel City’s chief revenue officer, said: “We’re excited to partner with Victory+ to expand how our fans can access Angel City matches.”“Angel City fans are among the most passionate in the NWSL, and ensuring they have multiple ways to watch and engage is a top priority for our club. As our distribution continues to evolve, this partnership allows us to reach new and growing audiences while also creating more value for our partners.”The matches on Victory+ will be called by play-by-play announcer Mark Rogondino and former US Women’s National Team player and Angel City investor Saskia Webber, giving the broadcasts a familiar NWSL-facing talent pairing.Victory+ is also a national media partner of the NWSL and carries 57 national matches, including an exclusive Sunday night window with pre-match coverage, with Angel City appearing in seven of those national games.Katie Boes, Victory+ chief content officer, said: “Our partnership with Angel City reinforces our commitment to expanding access and fandom for women’s sports.”“By delivering these matches free to viewers alongside creator-led programming, we’re building a year-round destination for NWSL fandom.”Victory+ is positioning its NWSL Content Hub as a differentiator, combining live matches with always-on programming and creator-led formats designed to drive engagement around highlights and real-time reactions.Angel City join a wider Victory+ portfolio that includes local rights relationships with properties across US sport, as the platform builds an ad-supported model around free access and incremental audience growth.The Angel City local schedule on Victory+ includes matches in May, August and September, with away games against North Carolina Courage, Boston Legacy and Utah Royals alongside home fixtures against Denver Summit and Seattle Reign FC.
